Privacy Policy

WidgetMaker.io (“the app”) is made by AechTech (“we”). This policy explains what the app sends, what we keep, and why. Questions: support@aechtech.com.
What you describe
When you ask for a build, the app sends your description — and, when you ask for a change, the widget being changed — to our server, which passes it to Anthropic, whose Claude models write the widget. We don't store your descriptions or the widgets on our server. Anthropic processes them under its commercial terms: it doesn't use them to train its models, and may keep them for a limited time (typically up to 30 days) for safety and abuse monitoring.
The app asks your permission before the first time it sends anything to our server or to Anthropic. If you don't allow it, nothing is sent and nothing is built.
What runs on your device
Every creation runs on your device inside a sandbox. It cannot connect to the internet, save data, or reach your other apps, files, contacts or photos, and it can't change how WidgetMaker.io works. What leaves your device is only what's needed to build it: the description you type and any change requests, sent to our server and to Anthropic, which writes the code.
Your build balance and purchases
So your balance works on your iPhone, iPad and Mac, our server keeps:
- an app-account identifier from Apple (the App Store's app transaction ID) — not your name, email or Apple Account details;
- the credit packs you've bought (Apple transaction IDs and which pack);
- a record of each build: when it happened, whether it used an included build or a credit, and technical details such as the model used, how long it took, its size and the tokens it used. It contains none of what you typed.
Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
What stays on your device
Your widgets, their versions, your favorites and their preview images are stored only on your device. Deleting a widget in the Library, or deleting the app, removes them. Widgets run in a locked-down sandbox with no network access and no storage of their own.
What we don't collect
No name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier, analytics or crash tracking, and no tracking across apps or websites. When you save a clip to Photos or share a clip or code, that only happens when you choose to, through Apple's own sheets.
Service providers
Our server runs on Vercel and our database on Supabase. Vercel keeps short-lived request logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations; we use IP addresses only momentarily, in memory, to limit abuse. Generation is done by Anthropic.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep balance and purchase records while they're needed to provide your builds. To have them deleted, email support@aechtech.com; include the approximate date of a purchase so we can find your records.
Children
The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date above.
